Characteristics: Honey truffles are a type of underground, truffle-like mushroom found mainly under common robinie trees in Eastern Europe. They have a lovely, mild mushroom scent which is very sweet - similar to honey and with a slight licorice flavour. They are therefore perfect for desserts. Our honey truffles are wild harvested in Hungary.
